This September 2006, the East of Ireland played host to the 36th Ryder Cup, which was held at The K Club, Co. Kildare.

Ireland’s Ryder Cup Region is a traditional golfing area which quite literally surrounds Dublin, offering some of the best championship courses in the world - and a host of lesser known gems of stunning quality.

A whole host of Ireland’s great courses are to be found here, from well known championship venues such as The K Club, Carton House and Druid’s Glen, to the majestic links of Baltray and the European Club.
