Golf Courses of Ireland’s Ryder Cup Region

Powerscourt

Powerscourt is one of Ireland’s best known estates, set on 1,000 acres of mature parkland and majestic gardens just south of Dublin in Enniskerry, Co Wicklow. It is also home to two top-class championship courses designed by Peter McEvoy (Walker Cup Captain) and David McLay Kidd (who also designed the new course at St. Andrews). The coming year will also see the addition of the Ritz Carlton Hotel which will comprise 203 suites and four restaurants as Espa – one of the largest spas in Europe.
