The Newforest Golf Club, Tyrellspass, County Westmeath is a superb new golf course by architect Peter McEvoy which opens in July 2006. Set on an impressive estate featuring gently rolling terrain and bounded by mature woodlands, Newforest is a golf course of the highest quality which is sure to become a major championship venue. Among the many interesting feature holes is the par 3 ninth, set entirely within a walled garden.

The 17th century former estate manor house has been impressively converted into one of the most interesting and inviting clubhouses in Ireland, with further development of a hotel and mews apartments also underway.

Newforest is located 55miles west of Dublin , just off the N6 Galway road 3 miles from the village of Tyrellspass , Co Westmeath.
